Now that I completed the modules that I wanted to, I will be further my education with some data structures and algorithm courses. I am very glad I started with this course but it is much more for those that already have an idea and want to implement it, rather than someone that wants to change careers. Just some ideas I put together in case someone searches the subreddit about the course, as I did before I started. I am interested in python as a career change and I will defitintely have to focus more on theory and algorithms as it is never touched upon in this course. The course never covers data structures and algorithims, which I have been told are exteremely important for landing real jobs. There is ALOT of python fundamental that is lost. apply what you learned then research the gaps. You’ll have to watch a bunch of YouTube tutorials like how to make a responsive navigation and such but that’s part of the learning process. Then spend time to build websites from scratch. Our target students are: First time developers. After completing each course, you will have a strong portfolio, coupled with the technical understanding to build your own custom applications. Devslopes transforms beginner students into paid professionals through curated project based videos, interactive quizzes, and exercises. Later on in the course it got a bit too heavy on HTML and web development. For someone interested in coding as a hobby, this course is perfect as it shows you all the potential that Python has to offer. You learn new Python libraries and really know how to use them yourself and, for me at least, it unlocked a world of possibility. The first days have really interesting projects that do a great job at checking your understanding about the fundamentals of python. Ask them if they have any previous grads you could talk to and gauge their experience. The boot camp really helped me fill in the gaps and build my confidence. I really think it is an excellent course for beginners to make them excited and interested in programming. They’re a great way to figure out if the coding stuff is something you enjoy. Devslopes by Mark Wahlbeck is a Udemy instructor with educational courses. This is coming from someone who had no coding experience 3+ months ago. I just finished "100 Days of Code - The Complete Python Pro Bootcamp for 2021" on Udemy.
